Hogar de la Misericordia and Fundación Soriana reestablish their social commitment to help people in need.

The President and Founder of the Hogar de la Misericordia, Esther Cueva de Sada and Isabel Ruenes, in representation of Fundación Soriana, along with the managers of the Soriana stores´ of the metropolitan area of Monterrey, agreed to do their best in the coming Round-off campaign throughout December 2005.

During an event which took place in Hogar III located in the city of Santa Catarina, the managers from each store had the opportunity to see the Hogar and its patients. During the event the managers watched an institutional video which explains the function that the Hogar de la Misericordia develops towards the terminally ill people of Monterrey. Managers were encouraged to help make the campaign a complete success.

The Round-off campaign will take place from December 1st until December 31st of 2005 and the amount collected will be given to the Hogar de la Misericordia to cover their expenses of medical assistance, food, and maintenance.
